• Is the K1C suitable for wet or washdown environments?

While the K1C is IP67 for dust and water resistance, it features an ABS plastic housing. This makes it suitable for general industrial environments with occasional splashes or humidity, but not recommended for heavy washdown or hygiene-sensitive industries such as food or pharmaceuticals. For those, a stainless steel model like K1CS is more appropriate.
